Sociétalement, le Sommet Mondial sur la Société de l'Information et technologiquement la RFC 6852 sont parvenus à un consensus sur une gouvernance en multipartenariat des Etats, des sociétés civiles, du secteur privé et des organisations internationales et sur les termes d'un paradigme moderne de standardisation où l'économie des marchés mondiaux, alimentée par les avancées technologiques, entraîne le déploiement mondial de normes qui, quel que soit leur statut officiel, découlent de l'existence et contribuent ensuite à la création de communautés mondiales profitant à l'humanité. Socially, the World Summit on the Information Society and Technologically RFC 6852 reached a consensus on multi-stakeholder governance of states, civil societies, the private sector and international organizations and on the terms of a modern standardization paradigm where the economics of global markets, fueled by technological advancements, drive global deployment of standards that regardless of their formal status proceed from the existence, and then contribute to the creation, of global communities benefitting humanity.
